上高地-春の風物詩 　ケショウヤナギの若木の小枝が紅に燃え白銀の世界に映える風景は上高地の風物詩の一つに挙げられるであろう。今年は例年になく赤みを増していたように思う。青空、穂高連峰の雪景色とケショウヤナギの紅を春の三段紅葉と我猫ジローの主人は話す。

"Things that remind people of an early spring season in Kamikouchi !"
In the early spring, you can find red rods of Chosenia arbutifolia (syn. Salix arbutifolia Pall.) in the limited Kamikouchi area. On this time, no one was there, so my wife and I had such three colors all to ourselves: the sky was blue, the Hotaka mountain range clothed herself in a white dress, and rods were bright red.
