憧れのニュージーランドへ （V）-マウントクック遊覧飛行-
テカポから車でマウントクック国立公園に移動し、ハーミテージホテルには午後３時過ぎに着いた。主人達は雨こそ降っていなかったが山々は雲に覆われていたので遊覧飛行は無理だろうと思っていた。午後4時直前にフライト可能と飛行場から迎えが来た。空港のスタッフは、「一昨日まで悪天候で一週間以上フライトは出来なかった。現在乱気流があり多少揺れるだろうがセスナ機で飛行できる状態だ。」と言う。マウントクックを見ることが出来なくてもタスマン氷河だけでも見ることが出来ればラッキーと思いながら雲の中に飛びたった。数回エアポケットに入って主人達は肝を冷やしたが、タスマン氷河に降り立つことが出来た．
主人達は夕食を終え部屋くつろいだ。主人は何度もベランダに出てマウントクックをチェックしたが雲の中であった。20：30pmマウントクックが姿を現した（この時期マウントクックの日の出は5：30am頃、日の入りは21：40pm頃）。マウントクックの晴天率は30％でさらに山頂が見られればラッキーと言われている。この分なら明日はフッカーバレーまでのトレッキング中に青空の下に“憧れのマウントクック”を望めるだろうと主人は小躍りした。

They moved from Tekapo to the Mount Cook National Park by car and arrived at the Hermitage Hotel after 3:00 p.m. Although it was not rain, but they were not able to see the mountains which were covered thick cloud. She said that it was not able to fly by bad weather more than one week until the day before yesterday. She added that it was possible to fly by Cessna.
They finished dinner, and relaxed in the room. He checked the mount Cook several times from the veranda, but he was not able to see it in a cloud. At 20:30 p.m., Mount Cook appeared suddenly.
