VII.

VI. Japanese Beech Forest at Shirakami Mountains – A stroll around the Anmongawa River
My masters took a walk around the Anmongawa River, where beech forest was beautiful in a part of the Shirakami Mountains registered with the world heritage.
The hunter called ”Matagi” chopped some letter using a special billhook into a beech as a mark.

V. Tamoyachi marsh in Hakkoda Mountains
The Hakkoda mountain range is a volcanic group, and one of 100 famous mountains in Japan. They went to the mountaintop by Hakkoda cable car. At the midpoint, they saw nothing from the window of cable car, because fog was thick. When they arrived at the mountaintop station, some view improved. So, they took a walk from there to the Tamoyachi marsh. They found the alpine plant more than ten kinds.
They also saw several flowers of the ground bamboo; the flower of the ground bamboo blooms with form of spike once in approximately 60 years.

IV.

IV. Tutanuma
Tutanuma is a pond in the foot of Hakkoda Mountains of Aomori. The trees that turned red in autumn are reflected in the surface of the pond, so Tutanuma is one of autumn superb viewpoints in Aomori.

III.

III. Oirasekeiryu (Mountain Stream in Oirase)
Wind and rain were strengthened from midnight and were accompanied by thunder. When they left the hotel early in the morning, it was rainy. His wife breathed against rain clouds over a window of their bus, with a wish to blow off rain clouds, again. When they arrived at the Mountain Stream in Oirase, soft light shined. It was so lucky.
The Lake Towada is a Chaldea lake. The Mountain Stream in Oirase is the only river flowing out of the shore of the Lake Towada. The both sides of the river rise steeply, as seen in Makado rock. There are waterfalls more than ten in the Oirase mountain stream.

II.

If you are lucky, you could see the mysterious scene such as the eye of the dragon, which appears in "the Kagami-numa" in Hachimantai at the early summer.

“I’m so sorry for people who live in lands where there are no Mayflowers,” said Anne.

Trip to Michinoku in Midsummer
The beginning of the rainy season in Shinshu was almost the same with an average year. However, the time of the setting-in of the rainy season was greatly different from an average year in various parts of Japan. Moreover, the seasonal rain front stayed for a long time from Kyushu area to Tokai area. So, the official advice to evacuate caused by the heavy rain was often given in Kyushu.
Although the weather was bad, my masters went for a trip Michinoku. The wife breathed against rain clouds over a window of the Shinkansen, with a wish to blow off rain clouds.

I. Hachimanndai- Alpine plants
My masters found many alpine-plants seen in Shinshu during hiking at Hachimanndai. When he found “Mayflowers”, he said to his wife “ we are living in happy world”. He remembered that Anne said, " I’m so sorry for people who live in lands where there are no Mayflowers ".
