主人は職場の駐車場にウコンザクラの古木がある。タカトウコヒガンザクラ、ソメイヨシノそしてウコンザクラの順に咲く。ウコンザクラは例年通りの色味であった。(Apr.27)

There is one old Ukonn-zakura tree in the parking lot of the job that my master commits. It blooms every year in order of Takatou-higanzakura, Someiyoshino cherries and Ukonn-zakura. The color taste of Ukonn-zakura is the same as in the past.

国営アルプスあづみの公園
チューリップが満開になったという便りに誘われてあづみの公園に出かけた。新型コロナウイルス対策のため開園開始時間から散策した。

They went to the Alps Azumino National Government Park to hear the news that tulips became in full bloom. They began walk soon after the opening of the park start in order to avoid the congestion.
チューリップが満開になったという便りに誘われてあづみの公園に出かけた。新型コロナウイルス対策のため開園開始時間から散策した。

白馬の春
四十九院のコブシを見に白馬までドライブした.昨夜の放射冷却のためか田んぼには薄氷が張っていた.天気に誘われて牟礼まで足を伸ばして水芭蕉をみた.
Spring in Hakuba
My masters took a drive to Hakuba to see Magnolia Kobus of the Shijuukuinn. They saw thin ice on the rice field. As it was fine, they went to Mure and enjoyed the giant skunk cabbage.

今年のタカトウコヒガンザクラ Takatou-higanzakura in this year
主人は職場のタカトウコヒガンザクラの赤みが例年に比べ薄くソメイヨシノより僅かに赤みがあった程度だった事を思い出した。
My master felt the redness of the “Takatou-higanzakura”, at his workplace, was lighter than an average year. He knew recently; the color taste of the cherry tree is influenced by temperature before the flowering.
＜桜の色味＞
桜に関する本には花弁の赤みは開花前の気温に影響され、寒さが続くと薄くなると記載されていた。主人は日記帳をぱらぱらと開き、今年は暖冬であったがタカトウコヒガンザクラが開花する前は寒い日が続いていたことを確かめた．

スジボソヤマキチョウ Gonepteryx Aspasia
主人は、知人と四方山話をした。3月末に近所の里山で羽がぼろぼろになったスジボソヤマキチョウを見たことを話すとそれは越冬した個体で写真があったらそれは貴重だと言った．
Nekojiro’s master was talking about recent topics with his friends. He talked about having seen “Gonepteryx Aspasia”, during a walk at the end of March. One of his friends said that they passed the winter in there and asked to show the photos.
＜スジボソヤマキチョウと雑感＞
スジボソヤマキチョウは年に１世代しか発生しない年１化性の蝶で3～4月に産卵、6～7月頃に羽化、しばらく活動してから夏眠する。９月頃になると再び現れ、成虫で越冬、春に産卵、５月頃まで生き続けるという。冬は湿った場所で越冬するために越冬後は翅の綺麗な黄色が抜けて染みだらけになってしまうという．主人が見たのはそんな越冬した蝶であったろう．枯れ葉の上で弱弱しく羽ばたく雄のスジボソヤマキチョウの写真を撮ろうと近づくと最初に居た場所から数メートル前方に舞ってから羽を休めた．主人は静かに蝶を追った．すると、スジボソヤマキチョウは再び飛びたって元の場所に戻った．そこに主人は一頭のスジボソヤマキチョウの雌を発見した．雄のスジボソヤマキチョウが促したのだろうか二頭は谷の向こうに弱々しく飛び立った．その飛翔に、主人は二頭が寄り添って信州の寒き冬を耐えたのではないか、またこれから産卵という大仕事に向かうのではないかと思った．
