＜ネパール紀行—人々２＞

子供達と日向ぼっこをしている老人を見ると心和む我猫ジローの主人である。手を挙げて応えてくれるおばあさん、手を合わせてナマステーというおじいさんもいい。

手をかざして挨拶してくれる　shading her eyes with her hand and said "Namaste"

My owner calls me Neko-jiro. Sometime he asks agreements from me. In this time, he asked me “How do you feel these family-scenes in which you can see two or three generations?” I said, “The scenes, which were more than a half-century ago in Japan, are projected on the screen in your mind”.
