Onsho temple (May 18)
My masters went to Onsho temple in Takato. Onsho temple is known as the peony temple. On the way to the temple, they dropped in at the Roadside Station and knew that there was the Mizoguchi Outcrop close near. So, they drove Akiba Highway to see the Median Tectonic Line at first. Speaking of Akiba Highway, during Nanbokucho period of Japan (1336-1392), Munenagashinnou (Prince of the Emperor Godaigo) went along this Highway by a fight with the power in the Northern Court, as a commander-in-chief of the expeditionary (Seii Taishogun).
Then they visited Onsho temple. In the precincts of the temple, it is said that there are about 2,000 peonies. When a woman of the worship place watched my master, who had a tripod and cameras, she said to him that wind was so strong to take photos and that the best season for viewing was passing. My masters walked around the garden. Although most of flowers were past in full bloom, they were very satisfied on finding beautiful flowers .

The Hakuba-mountain range in the season of the fresh green
My masters want to take photos of the Hakuba-mountain range in the season of the fresh green. So they went to Mt. Hakuba-Iwatake. During the drive to Mt. Hakuba-Iwatake, they saw a cloud hanged over the mountaintop thinly and a dark face of the Hakuba-mountain range. When my master’s wife was taking a walk from the ropeway terminal station, she found figures of the Luehdorfia puziloi. She made a great effort to capture butterflies on video. She finally got a satisfying video.
