庭の風物詩 （6月-7月, 2022）
今年は梅雨が短く、夏日・猛暑日が続き庭の草花も開花の時期と出来映えが例年と異なった．我が庭の風物詩であるホタル、ツキミソウ＊（Oenothera tetraptera）、アゲハチョウの幼虫は今年も見ることが出来たが、まだオニヤンマの羽化は見ていない．
Real feeling of summer in their garden (June-July,2022)
The rainy season was short, and summer days or extremely hot days continue this year. Both timing of flowering and number of flowers in their garden are different from usual year. They observe fireflies, Oenothera tetraptera and papilionid worms. However, they have not seen the emergence of the golden-ringed dragonfly yet.

主人の職場の植木にキセキレイが巣を作り無事雛が巣立ちをした．セキレイについてはラフカディオ・ハーンの記述がある．”All about Oba you may see many sekirei or wagtails-birds sacred to Izanami and Izanagi-for a legend says that from the sekirei the gods first learned the art of love.” （大庭一帯にはセキレイが多く生息する．セキレイは伊耶那岐命と伊邪那美命の夫婦にとって聖なる鳥である．この夫婦神はセキレイから男女の愛の道を学ばれたとのことである．）

白馬五竜高山植物園
今年は梅雨明けが例年になく早い。梅雨明けのアルプスにはコマクサが咲く。日帰りでコマクサが見られるところといえば五竜高山植物園が思いつく。早々出かけた。（7/1）
Goryu Alpine Botanical Garden
As for this year, the end of the rainy season was earlier than an average year. When the rainy season is over, we are able to enjoy the dicentra in the Alps. So, they went to Goryu Alpine Botanical Garden. (Jul.1)

ササユリ
ササユリは本州の中部地方から九州にかけて分布する日本固有種で、ユリ科の多年草で６月の中旬と梅雨の時期に開花する。“ササユリ”の名は、葉がササに似ていることに由来している。昨今、自生する笹百合の数が減したことから自然保護の対象となっている。梅雨の中休みの晴れた日に保護地域である宇津江四十八滝に出かけた。（6/25）

The Lilium japonicum (Sasa-yuri) is a Japanese endemic species; it is distributed from the Chubu District of Honshu to Kyushu and flowers at time of the rainy season in mid-June. The name of "the Lilium japonicum " comes from the fact leaves resemble bamboo leaves. In late years the number of wild Lilium japonicum reduces. Therefore it is subject to nature conservation. One day, fine during the rainy season, they went to Utsue that is the protected area of the Lilium japonicum. (Jun 25)
