　今年は酷暑、水害、台風と異常気象が重なり例年のような紅葉が期待されないと言われ、実際に各地の紅葉名所からの便りも芳しくない。秋晴れと感じられる日が殆どないことに我猫ジローの主人は鬱々していたようだ。久しぶりに自宅から北アルプスがくっきりと見えた10月初旬の日曜日に孫を連れて乗鞍高原に足をのばした主人は大楓の紅葉が青緑から紅色まで7色の虹のように進んでいるのを楽しんだようだ。ただ、度重なる大風の影響か葉の数が例年に比べ6割程度しかないことを残念がったようだ。

　In this year, Japan has many typhoons, flood damages and Japanese people suffered from the intense heat that they had not experienced so far. Therefore, it is said that the colored leaves like the average year are not expected. The news from the famous place of colored leaves in Japan is not really good. Nekojiro’s master regrets that there is few days that he feels it is a clear autumn day. On Sunday of the beginning of October, he saw the Northern Alps clearly from his house and he extended a trip to Norikura-kogen with grandchildren. There is one big maple tree, which is famous for colored leaves. The autumn colors of that maple advanced like seven colors of rainbows from bluish green to red. Unfortunately the number of leaves was left only in the 60% degree in comparison with an average year due to influence of repeated big wind.
