新春の便り２
開田高原が氷点下14℃になると聞いた主人達は朝4時に起きて向かった。九蔵峠に7時前に到着し、御嶽山が赤く染まるのを待った。木曽馬の里では素晴らしい霧氷を見ることが出来た。朝4時から体を動かした甲斐があったと主人は思った。帰り道に三九郎を見た。（１月８日）

It was announced that a temperature at Kakida Heights would below-zero 14 degrees Celsius in early morning. My masters got up at 4:00 a.m., and went for a drive to there. They arrived at Kuzou-touge pass before 7:00 and waited for Mount Ontake to dye in red. They were able to see splendid hoarfrost at the village of the Kiso-uma horse. (Jan.8)
