毎年ジョウビダキが庭を訪れてくれる. 毎日ほぼ同じ時間に飛来するが、ここ数日間姿を見ない. シベリヤに帰行したのだろう。今年はシロハラが庭にあわわれた。中国東北部に帰行したのかここのところ姿を見ない。(3/24)
Daurian Redstart visits the garden every year. The bird appears in our garden the almost same hour mostly every day, but it isn’t seen for these several days. My master thinks that the bird had left for the Siberia. This year, a pale thrush (Turdus pallidus) came flying. A pale thrush also had gone, probably leaving for the north part of China.

四賀の福寿草自生地を再訪した.北向きの斜面一面に咲き誇っていた. (3/24)

我が家の庭も春らしくなってきている. 井戸端に毎年フキノトウが顔を出し、庭の梅の木は小梅、中梅そして大梅の順に花をつけた.
セツブンソウの自生地がある日出塩までドライブした．（3/20）
Spring has been coming to the garden of master’s house: petasites japonicus appeared at the well side (Mar.13), one blossom of large plum tree blooms (Mar.20). They went for a drive to Hideshio to see the Eranthis pinnatifida.
